I spend a lot of time talking about eyewear for women. 🔊but what about the fellas? I hear you guys in the back! This week’s issue is for our necessory bros! I had the pleasure of entering the lab of Waldo’s Gallery. You may have seen the name in previous issues or even heard the name in my videos, so let me introduce you to the creator behind the mentions.
Waldo’s Gallery is a hand-crafted wardrobe and home accessory company that focuses on uplifting and motivating audiences from all over the world with creations like never seen before. With the motto “Hard to Find - Easy to Spot”, it’s very fitting considering the creative mind of owner and creator, Waldo Sahn, whose creations stand out in a world of complacency. As an eyeglass-wearer himself, Waldo Sahn had these words to offer about his current eyewear and his brand.
Do you consider your eyewear a necessory & if so, what is your necessory style?
Yes! Not only do I need glasses to help me see, but the style I chose goes with all of my outfits and my Waldo’s Gallery pieces. They pop just enough to get a compliment, but subtle enough to not overshadow my art. Regarding my style, whatever makes my creativity vibrate at the highest level, meaning, that whatever brings me a sense of peace and freedom results in my daily style. Too often, we are told men are supposed to dress in a certain “masculine” way, which in my opinion, puts you in a box. No, be you! Lord Almighty only created one of you, so why not show off His work!
Does your current eyewear reflect who you are?
At this current moment, yes! I selected a pair of gold rimmed, round RayBan frames and these are a hit! They scream intellect & prosperity: two areas I am always trying to grow in.
What advice would you give to other men about eyewear?
Do not be afraid to step out of the box when it comes to YOUR style. Even if you have 20/20 vision, a nice non-prescription frame can set off any outfit! Need ideas? Pinterest is an excellent place to start or even Instagram! Inspiration is everywhere. Although, the best way to find your eyewear style is to try on & wear whatever makes you feel your happiest self or whatever gives you good energy!
Speaking of good energy, you’re often heard saying “I send Good Energy”. What does that mean?
When I say, “I send good energy”, it means I send so much of the purest form of love and high vibrational energy your way that has no choice but to enter you and uplift your spirit. Often, we battle secret storms that prevents our well-being from reaching its full potential, so it’s good to know that someone is praying for your success and peace too. I am that person. My desire is to uplift with each hand-crafted piece I create. To “send good energy” is to send love, power, strength, courage, and so much more to my brother or sister.

When I’m in the lab, it’s time to get to work! I literally draw inspiration from all aspects of life: conversations, people watching, and all energy. The glasses go on, the doors are closed, the music starts, and all the creativity flows. I’m extremely intricate and a firm believer in quality over quantity, so I create each piece with patience, love, and good energy. I can often be found wearing any of my creations at any time, paired with a headwrap, and every matching outfits.

That 9-5: I always wear my glasses because the work I do is very intricate, so it’s a must I see what I am doing!
Guy’s Day Out: Man! Put on a nice white tee, blue jeans (sidenote: ASOS has a very affordable and nice selection for men) and some Chelsea boots and you’re going to want to buy yourself a drink!
BAE Night: We go the movies often, so my glasses are a necessory if I want to see the screen! LOL
Loungin’: Put on your favorite joggers, grab a good book, and you are in there! This look can actually be great for photos. Trust me, BAE has a plethora of photos in this setting.
Overall, I give these frames a 5 out of 5 for uniqueness, retro-style, fit, and comfort!
